We booked a guided hunt with Central Flyway Outfitters for Teal season open in 2026 off of the Texas Coast. It was a blast, ton of fun! The group of 10 that I was with only shot 13 ducks collectively. There were other groups that did better than us, but all in all glad I got to go out! We traveled to Port Aransas, TX to fish the Jetty! We went on a Monday so there was practically no one but us fishing! We had a great trip, and caught mangrove snapper from the rocks! I took our boat out east of Galveston to Sabine Pass, TX. We went to fish the jetties, but the weather for fishing offshore was excellent! We took a trip 9 miles offshore, and hooked an absolutely MASSIVE FISH! After fishing 9 miles offshore on a platform/rig we decided to make our way back to the jetties. We then took a quick stop to fish some buoys in the nearshore waters of the gulf of America, and the buoys did not disappoint! We caught some amazing fish, and I took them home to cook them up in a delicious recipe.
