We’re Amy and Alex—a couple of Texas-born adventurers with a deep love for the wild. 1836 Fishing & Outdoors started as our way to capture the moments we live for: early morning casts, dusty trails, campfire meals, and the quiet kind of peace you only find deep in Texas backcountry.
 

From fishing the Gulf Coast to hunting whitetail, hiking rugged state park trails, and spotting wildlife along the way, we’re always on the move—camera in hand and curiosity in our pack. We share the highs, the fails, the lessons, and the laughs, in hopes of inspiring folks like us who can’t get enough of the outdoors.
